刘相文律师先后办理了近千件国内外商业争议解决案件，其在中国各级人民法院和美国、德国、新加坡、加拿大、BVI、巴巴多斯、刚果（金）等数十个国家境外法院帮助客户应诉，其在中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会、香港国际仲裁中心、ICC国际仲裁院、美国仲裁协会等境内外知名仲裁机构代理客户出庭经验丰富，其经常在不同国际会议上就相关法律主题发表英文演讲，他先后为几十家跨国公司和央企提供法律服务。

Mr. Liu has handled over one thousand domestic and international dispute resolution cases. He has represented clients before all levels of courts in China and has assisted clients in responding to proceedings before courts in various jurisdictions including the United States, Germany, Singapore, Canada, BVI, Barbados, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He has extensive experience in representing clients at prominent arbitral tribunals such as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Hong Kong International Arbitration Center, the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, and American Arbitration Association. He gave multiple English speeches on relevant legal topics at international conferences. He has provided legal services for multinational companies and central enterprises.

 

刘相文律师为北京市十佳留学归国律师、清华大学硕士研究生联合导师、国际辩护律师协会（IADC）会员、国际律师协会（IBA）会员、环太平洋法律顾问协会（IPBA）会员、中华全国律协国际业务委员会委员、中国法学会会员、中国消费者权益保护法研究会会员。

Mr. Liu was awarded one of the “Top 10 Beijing lawyers who studied abroad and returned to China”. He is a joint tutor for postgraduates of Tsinghua University, a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel  (IADC), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), the International Business Committee of All China Lawyers Society, China Law Society, and Consumer Protection Law Association of China Law Society.

 

刘相文律师先后入选司法部涉外律师领军人才名录以及中华全国律师协会“一带一路”跨境律师领军人才库，并领衔参与编写《“一带一路”沿线国家法律环境国别报告》。同时，因其在跨境争议解决及重大商事纠纷领域的卓越表现，刘相文律师还受到Legal Band（2019/2020/2021第一级别推荐）、Benchmark Litigation（2019/2020争议解决之星）、Chambers Global、The Legal 500、Chambers Asia Pacific等国际法律评级机构的广泛推荐与高度认可，目前担任司法部国际事务法律顾问。

Mr. Liu has been selected into the Ministry of Justice's Leading Talents List of Foreign-related Lawyers and the All-China Lawyers Society's "Belt and Road" Foreign-Related Lawyer Talent Pools. He led and participated in writing Legal Environment Report of the “Belt and Road” Countries. At the same time, because of his outstanding performance in the field of cross-border dispute resolution and major commercial disputes, Mr. Liu was awarded Legal Band first-level recommendation (2019/2020/2021), Benchmark Litigation Dispute Resolution Star (2019/2020), and was widely recommended and highly recognized by Chambers Global, The Legal 500, Chambers Asia Pacific and other international legal rating agencies. Mr. Liu is serving as legal counsel of the Ministry of Justice for international affairs.

1997年—2004年底，他在全国人大常委会法制工作委员会任职，期间主要从事立法研究工作。他先后参与了信托法、公司法、证券法等多部法律的立法调研工作。此外，他还参与了《中华人民共和国法律汇编（英文版）1979-2004卷》、《中国证券法指南》、《香港基本法导论》、《美国隐私法》等多部法律著作的编译工作。

From 1997 to the end of 2004, Mr. Liu served on the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, where he was mainly engaged in legislative researches. He participated in the legislative researches in many areas of law including the Trust Law, the Company Law, and the Securities Law. In addition, he participated in the translation and editing of many legal works such as Laws and Regulations of the People's Republic of China (English Edition) Volume 1979-2004, Guide to China Securities Law, Introduction to Hong Kong Basic Law, and Privacy Law of the United States.

刘相文律师于2005年1月起从事律师工作，律师工作期间，其参与撰写出版了《中国企业全面合规体系建设实务指南》、《公司诉讼的策划与应对》、《“一带一路“沿线国家法律环境国别报告》（参与全国律协组织撰写中英文版）、《中国反商业贿赂指南（中英文版）》、《中国企业全面合规体系建设实务指南》、《医药与法律---中国医药与健康产业法律服务与实务指南》等多部法律著作。

Mr. Liu has practiced as a lawyer since January 2005. During his work as a lawyer, he participated in the writing of Practical Guide for the Construction of a Comprehensive Compliance System for Chinese Enterprises, Planning and Response to Corporate Litigation, Legal Environment Report of the “Belt and Road” Countries (participated in the writing of the Chinese and English versions of the National Lawyers Association), China Anti-Commercial Bribery Guide (Chinese and English versions), Medicine and Law--China's Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Legal Service and Practice Guide and many other legal books.
